Metallic bismuth-containing drug RBC is expected to be an alternative therapy for the treatment of COVID-19
On October 12th, a research team from the University of Hong Kong stated that a commonly used anti-ulcer drug containing metallic bismuth “ranitidine bismuth citrate” has been shown to significantly reduce the load of the new coronavirus and alleviate related inflammation caused by the virus. The drug is expected to be an alternative therapy for the treatment of new coronavirus infections.
